Product Description :

PARACETAMOL 500 mg + CAFFEINE 30 mg TABLETS

1. COMPOSITION

Each tablet contains:

  • Paracetamol — 500 mg

  • Caffeine — 30 mg

  • Pharmaceutical excipients — q.s.

2. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM

Tablet.

3. THERAPEUTIC CLASS

Analgesic / Antipyretic Combination.

4. INDICATIONS

  • Relief of mild to moderate pain.

  • Relief of headache and tension-type headache.

  • Reduction of fever associated with common cold and other minor illnesses.

  • Relief of muscular aches and general body pain.

5. CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Hypersensitivity to Paracetamol, Caffeine or any component of the formulation.

  • Severe hepatic impairment or active liver disease.

  • Severe renal impairment unless prescribed by a physician.

  • Concomitant use with other Paracetamol-containing medicines without medical advice.

  • Excessive caffeine intake should be avoided.

6. DRUG INTERACTIONS

Paracetamol may interact with:

  • Warfarin and other anticoagulants, particularly with prolonged regular use.

  • Enzyme-inducing medicines such as certain anticonvulsants and rifampicin.

  • Other Paracetamol-containing medicines, increasing the risk of overdose and liver toxicity.

Caffeine may interact with medicines that affect caffeine metabolism and may increase stimulant effects when combined with other caffeine-containing products.

7. ADMINISTRATION

Take 1 tablet orally with water, or as directed by a physician.

  • Maintain the recommended interval between doses.

  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

  • Do not take with other Paracetamol-containing medicines.

  • Limit additional caffeine from coffee, tea, energy drinks and other caffeine-containing products.

8. STORAGE

Store below 25°C, protected from moisture, heat and direct sunlight.
Keep the tablets in the original package.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date.
